Yes. Cabinet Guard ties into the standard SW-IN / SW-OUT door switches used across most VGT, skill, amusement, and vending machines, so it works across mixed fleets.
Is Cabinet Guard compatible with older or customized cabinets?
In most cases, yes. If you have an older, uncommon, or heavily customized cabinet, reach out before ordering, and we’ll confirm door-switch compatibility and installation fit.
What happens if the power is cut or someone unplugs the cabinet?
The internal battery backup keeps the alarm active during outages or deliberate power cuts, so the siren and strobe can still trigger if the door is opened.
How loud is the Cabinet Guard's siren?
The siren outputs 100+ dB, which is loud enough to cut through busy bars, truck stops, arcades, and other noisy locations and act as a strong deterrent.
How long does a typical Cabinet Guard installation take?
Most installs take only a few minutes per cabinet using the spring-cage push-in terminals and a simple wiring diagram, once you’ve done the first unit or two.
Will Cabinet Guard fit in tight or crowded cabinet interiors?
Yes. The enclosure is compact and designed to mount inside tight, crowded cabinets without blocking airflow, wiring, or existing components.
